The King's Funeral at Darling Harbour Ceremony

King Bhumipol of Thailand

Almost 10,000 people assisted to the King's funeral ceremony at Darling Harbour.

It was so deeply touching to see the love and veneration of the Thai people to their king, considered by them, their father, and the father of the nation.

People were deeply emotional and at the same time proud of the man that embodied and role played for them COMPASSION and an attitude of tolerance, loving kindness and fairness.

He shared with his fellow men and women all the knowledge that will help them to achieve a live free of the atrocities of poverty. He empower them!

Monastics from all traditions and different beliefs came to pay their respect to the king that became and inspiration to all. It was so uplifting to see such demonstration of love to someone that embody love itself!

It humbled me deeply.

May the endless stream of merits of the King pave the way for him to be in absolute bliss!

End of Vassa Full Moon at Balmoral Beach

After a beautiful time sharing Dhamma with amazing friends at Araliya's place, my daughter Lu took me to Balmoral beach for a walk. Citric - floral fragrances were drifted by the cool breeze... Sitting on the stony step, gazing at the ocean, the moon appeared. As the Vassa ended and the full moon raised in the horizon, I renewed my precepts... A joyful day, full of blessings!
